Reel Green Reuse Exchange is a partnership between the Motion Picture Production Industry Association of BC, IATSE Local 891, the Directors’ Guild of Canada - BC District Council, the British Columbia Film Commission and the Recycling Council of BC.

The Reel Green Reuse Exchange is a free waste matching service to help the BC motion picture production industry find alternative solutions to dispose of reusable materials. The program allows businesses, industry and other organizations to list items available/wanted for reuse, all within British Columbia’s Motion Picture and Television Production Industry.

By facilitating material exchanges, the Reel Green Reuse Exchange helps members lower their waste disposal and raw material costs while improving their environmental performance.

Businesses, industries and other organizations can list their available materials by type, quantity, frequency of availability, geographic location, and date listed. They may also include photos of the materials. Users can post detailed wanted listings, specifying the type(s) of material they need and the frequency.
